  • support for more equitable, community-accountable, trust-based grantmaking
  • technical assistance with grantwriting
  • policy advising around education and workforce development, particularly for BIPOC and immigrant communities
  • engaging private sector employers around workforce development, job quality and worker voice

Testimonials

“Heddy provided an immense knowledge of Los Angeles' education and workforce systems. Her ability to synthesize data and information about these systems and provide context as it related to our project was vital in bringing together partners who were largely unfamiliar with the work. With Heddy's support, we were able to develop plans for the region to better align education and careers for the benefit of students in Los Angeles.”

Director, Postsecondary Strategy & Policy, UNITE-LA

Adam Gottlieb

“Heddy provided incredible insight on how to ensure that our community-driven, racial equity project concept was framed effectively for federal funding approval. Given her deep experience in the field, she was able to rapidly understand our needs and help formulate an appropriate and effective response to the challenge at hand. She was clearly aligned with our organizational values and able to provide critical assistance in helping us secure $2M from the Federal Forest Service to support our work to increase the tree canopy in neighborhoods in heat zones.”
